Access - The Uniform Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Fire Department access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire Departrnent access roads (Fire Lanes) shall provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of unobstructed, all-season driving surface with a minimum cleaz height of 13'6". Fire Lanes will be posted and maintained as required by the Fire Department. 2. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. 3, When access to or within a suucture or an area is unduly difficult because of secured openings or where immediate access is necessary for life saving or fire-figbting purposes, the Fire Department may recommend or require a key box to be installed in an accessible location.
