The options for stormwater quality enbancement aze identified in
ordet of preference:
t) M infiltration basin designed and consnucted according to City standaNs.
2) A wetpond designed and conshucted ro City standards.
3) A baffle-type oil/water separator followed by a vegetated swale, both de.signed
and coaswcced accordir.g to Ciry standards, (SEPA Water and Public Services
and Udlides Poticies)
• Cty standards call for all surface water etiting the site to be conveyed to the nearest
e.ctablis6ed, stable drainage course by pipe or anapproved swale m a manner that wiil
not resuit in erosion or flooding. Stormwater nmff from this site cwrently discharges
onto Broadway where a defined drainage System does not ezist for most of the distance
from this site to the point w6ere flow encers a napual drainage course. To mcet City
standards, the applicant apears to have two options for discharge of collecced
stormwater runoff from tlus site, 1) to install storm drains where they do not currendy
exisc fl'om this site down Broadway to the point where the flow enters a natural
drainage course, or 2) ro route the stormWater runoff across Broadway to the
Depaent of Tcancporation's i-5 scorm drainage syskm.
