PORT OF EVERETT SECTION 00700 <br />UTIION SLOUGH MARSH MI7'[GATION GENERAL CONDIT[ONS <br />ART[CLE 15 - SUSPENSION OF WORK AND TERMINATION <br />15.1 PORT may, at any time and without cause, suspend the Work or any portion thereof for a <br />period of not more than thirty (30) days by notice in writing to CONTRACTOR and ENGINEER <br />which shall fix the date on which Work shall be resurt►ed. CON7'RACI'OR shall resume the Work on <br />the date so fixed. CON7RACTOR will be allowed an increase in the Contract Price, or an extension <br />of the Contract Time, or both, directly attributabk to any suspension if he makes a claim therefor as <br />provided in Articks 11 and 12. <br />'�: fmi� <br />15.2 Upon the occurnnce of any one or more of the following events: <br />15.2.1 if CONTRACI'OR is adjudged a banlavpt or insolvent, <br />15.2.2 if CONTRACTOR makes a general assig►unent for the benefit of aeditors, <br />15.2.3 if a wstee or raxiver is appoint� :�: CONfRACTOR or for any of CONTRACTOR's <br />property, <br />15.2.4 if CONfRACTOR 51es a petition to talce advantage of any debtor's act, or to reorganiu <br />under the banlwptcy or similar laws, - <br />15.2.5 if CONTRACfOR npeatedly fails to supply sufficient skilled workmen or suitable materials � <br />or equipment, <br />15.2.6 if CONTRACTOR repeatedly faiLs ro make prompt pa�mients to Subcontractors or for labor, <br />materials or equipment, - <br />15.2.7 if CONTRAGTOR disregazds laws, ordinences, ruks, ngulations or orders of any public <br />body having jurisdiction, <br />15.2.8 if CONTRACCOR disregazds the authority of ENGINEER, or <br />15.2.9 if CONTRACTOR otherwise violates in any substantial way any provisions of the Contract <br />Documents, <br />P�RT may after giving CONTRACCOR and his Surety seven days' written notice, temrinate the <br />services of COIV'fRACTOR, exclude CONTRACTOR from the site and tare possession of the Work <br />and of all CONTRACfOR's tools, appliances, construction equipment and machinery at the site and <br />use the same to the full extent they could be used by COIVTRACI'OR (without liability to <br />CONTRACTOR for vespass or conversion), incorporate in the Work all matarials and equipment <br />
