PORT OF EVERETT <br />UNTON SLOUGH MARSH MITIGATION <br />SECCION 00700 <br />GENERAL COND[TIONS <br />I 1.5.6 Other overhead or general expense costs of any kind and the costs of any item not specifically <br />and expressly included in pazagraph 11.4. <br />Contractor's Fee: <br />1 l.6 The Contractor's Fa allowed to CONTRACTOR for overhead and profit shall be determined <br />as follows: <br />11.6.1 a mutually acceptable fixed fa; ur if none can be agrad upon, <br />11.6.2 a fee based on the following percentages of the various portions of the Cost of the Work: <br />11.6.2.1 for costs incurred under pazagraphs 11.4.1 and 11.4.2, the Contractor's Fa shall be twenty <br />(20�90) percent, <br />11.6.2.2 for costs incurred under paragraph 11.4.3, the Contractor's Fa shall be five (596) percenr, <br />and if a subconvact is on the basi� of Cost of the Work Plus a Fee, the maximum allowable to the <br />Subcontractor as a fee for overhead and profit shall be G.Reen (IS'i6) percent, and <br />11.6.2.3 no ke shall be payable on the basis of costs itemiud under pazagraphs 11.4.4, 11.4.5 and <br />11.5. <br />1 l.� The amount of credit to be allowed by CONTRACTOR to PORT for any such change which <br />results in a net decrease in cost, will be the amount of the acmal net decrease, W►kn both additions <br />and credits are involved in any one change, the combined overhead and profit shall be Sgured on the <br />basis of the net increase, if any, <br />I 1.8 Whenever the cost of any Work is to be detemtined pursuant to paragraphs 11.4 and I 1.5, <br />CONTRACfOR will submit in form acceptable to ENGINEER an itertriud cost breakdown together <br />with supporting data. <br />Cash Allowances: <br />1 l.9 It is understood that CONTRACTOR has included in the Conaract Price all allowances and shall <br />cause the Work so covered to be done by such 3ubcontractors, manufacturers, fabricators, suppliers <br />or distributors and for. such surru within the limit of the allowances as may be acceptable to <br />ENGINEER. CONTRACfOR agrees that the original Contract Price inciudes such surt►S as <br />CONTRAC'COR deems proper for costs and profit on account of cash allowances. No demand for <br />additional cost or nrofit in connection therewith will be valid. <br />I I.10 The PORT reserves the right to increase the quantity of any item or portion of the work or to <br />omit ponions of the work: also to make such alterations or deviations, additions to, or omissions <br />1 <br />. <br />J <br />
