Pannit Counter <br />Subjact: Proposed Rockery - Smith Ave. & 42nd St. S.E. site, <br />Everett. <br />This enqineering report presents the results o` a qeotechnical <br />assessment for the proposed rockery at Mr. Hansen's property, (42nd <br />St. S.E. & Smith Ave., Everett) This assessment was necessitated <br />by owner concerns ae well as City of Everett.requirements. <br />Referenca: Site Photoqraphs <br />Rockery Design <br />The proposed rockery will be approximately 85 feet lonq, and <br />vary in haiqht from 6 feet at the east, to 12 Peet at �he w�:at. <br />The in-site soils consist of free draining dense sands, with <br />some ailt. The pre-exietinq slope angla is euch that no <br />significant excavation or cuttinq is required. <br />Tha base courBe of the rockery shall be embedded into the <br />firm, undisturbed subgrade a minimum of 12 inches. Free draining <br />backfill matarial, as approved by this Engineer, shall be placed itt <br />the drainage zone behind the rockery, <br />•� - •� •ua-�.. .�- <br />The site i� comoatible for the proposed rockery subject to on- <br />site inspection by this Enqineer. <br />it is underatood that all street improvement aspects of this <br />project, includinq fencing, barriers, future proposed bicycle <br />paths, etc., are the responsibility of the City of Everett.
