P11M/C WOMS
/ PUBLIC SEMMES DEPARTMENT
January 3, 2001
Steve & Paulette Gennard
116 — Sydney Lane
Everett, WA 98203
Re: 116 — Sydney/Drivew y
Dear Steve & Paulette Ger,nard:
The public works permit and site plan for your resent addition/garage had conditions for
your project (copies attached). The existing concrete driveway was to be removed and a
new driveway installed for the new garage.
Please let me know if you are planning on doing this work at a later date? If so, do you
have a schedule?
I made a drive -by visit to your project this morning. It looks as if several vehicles use the
existing driveway for parking. Elimination of this parking my not be your preference.
In order to leave both driveways, (the zoning code state that the maximum width of
driveways shall not equal 20 feet), the total width of driveways must not be more than 20
feet. If you leave the driveways as is, with a 12-foot wide concrete driveway and another
driveway that is 8 feet wide, you should be in compliance per this code.
Please give me a call at (425) 257-8815 so we can discuss this matter.
Sincerely,
Kirk Brooks
Permit Services Manager
SPic ve 4 n
Ppltine -Lle 20 "rat
DEDI!FOKS/ RP GENNARD 116 SYDNEY DRIVEWAY)
CITY OF EVERESRTT • 32d0 Cedar Street 9 Everett, WA 98201 • (425) 257-8800 • Fax (425) 257-8856
