The three main question that we have are: <br />1. For existing manhole #3, out by the ejge of dock, that is being abandoned, since it is very <br />close to the waters edge, can the manhc le be filled with concrete up to within 5 feet of grade <br />and the remaining structure removed and proper fill material be placed? This would make for <br />less disturbing of the ground. <br />ok, bul use CDF and not concrele. � <br />2. We are putting in a new 12" pvc drain line from the existing MH #2C (and replacing the top <br />with a standard storm catch basin) to the new 30 pvc main drain line. Where this connecfion <br />occurs, should there be a new manhole placed there or can this be a simple connection? For the existing Manholes #1 (SMH19955X5) and #2 (SMH19955X4), they are currently <br />made of corrugated material. Replacing the tops of these with new concrete/iron work seems <br />to be about the same cost as replacing them completely with new concrete structures. Is this <br />permissible and will there need to be any additional permit approvals to do this? <br />Replace MH # 1 entirely w/new concrele slructure per cily std MH.
