(ETI) to request <br />approval by the City of Everett as an independent testing <br />laboratory for job site evaluation of non-UL labeled equipment. <br />ETI is recognized as a qualified testing laboratory in many <br />jurisdictions throughout the western United States. <br />Job Site Location: Port of Everett, Chill Facility <br />Equipment: Ten (10) Chill Door Control Panels <br />ETI Contact: Bob Ruxlow, ETI-Seattle, 562-0188 <br />Enclosed are documents describing our procedures for equipment <br />evaluation. Additionally, enclosed is ETI's approved equipment <br />sticker to be applied when the equipment is found, through <br />inspection and testing, to meet recognized industry standards for <br />manufacturing. Final acceptance of any product or installation <br />is by the jurisdiction. <br />ETI normally becomes involved with equipment evaluations whenever <br />the local jurisdiction field inspector does not approve a piece <br />of equipment, and requests a third party certification. This <br />generally occurs with custom equipment, foreign equipment or used <br />equipment which has been relocated to a new job site. Our <br />evaluation services involve specific equipment at a specific job <br />site.
