There vill also be 5-6 buoys placed south of the South Terminal <br /> for log raft atorage providing approximately 120,000 aquare feet of log raft <br /> storage. Inwater etructures between South Terminal and Pier 1 will be removed. <br /> Upland improve�ente vill include filliog the eite vith approzimately 100,000 <br /> cubic yards of sand and cruahed rock aub-base With 8-12 inchee of aephalt as a <br /> final surface covering. The e:iating varehouee nay be ezpanded by 45,000 <br /> aquare feet for general cargo usage. <br /> A number of etructures will be demolished and removed to accommodate the log <br /> yard, including 1) timber bulkheads and breakvatere; 2) old erestle pier <br /> piling; 3) removal of in-water atruc[ures between South Terminal and Pier I. <br />
