The <br /> Uniform Building Code provides that all permiu expire by limication if the work authoriud <br /> by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of <br /> 180 days. If you wish co prevent the permiu from expiring without documentation of <br /> completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request inspections of work that hu occurred,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspeaions of the work that is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br /> Department for microfilming without final approval.
