I did not see any garbage lying around the area. I will monitor ;,. the area more often for the next month. Gn 90i Broadway, I talked with N4�rtin, the owner, and explained that the �; uutable racks had to be made stable or removed. He indicated that he r.n, would remove them. 1'he vehicles that were for sale ard those that were 4,', riis�nantled h�u to be renoved. He said he would get rid of them. � I asked why the pile of tires was growing as I ]mew that he was disposing of �'r, them thrwgh a Portland disposal plant at one time. He said it was costly for this k', process but said he had talked with someone in the Police Department and they f had indicated a need of some tires for their new shooting rar�ge. He asked how ;. I muh time I would give him to dispose of the tires he would not be using. I told him to start work on it i�mnediately and to contact the Police Department and tell them to get some of the tires if they wanted them because I was I forcing him to get rid of them. I then proceeded to the Police Department and talkeci with Officer Lenny Am�mdsun who is presently in charge of wtat is happening at the range. Ne explained that they did want some of the tires for the range. I told him what the circumstances were and said he had best contact hL�rtin right away. i;..
