August 28, 2013 <br /> George Baxter, Transportation Services, stated that the main focus of the <br /> Transit Development Plan is to show how Everett Transit is addressing <br /> the State's policy recommendations affecting public transportation as <br /> described in the State Transportation Plan. It also includes a financial <br /> overview. <br /> Council Member Murphy expressed concern regarding the report's <br /> financial projection, which shows $5.9 million in higher expenses over the <br /> next five years versus revenue. Considerable discussion ensued. <br /> President Moore invited public comment. There was no response. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader, to close the public hearing. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Stonecipher and Affholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> EVERETT TRANSIT DEVELOMENT PLAN <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Bader to accept the 2013 — 2018 Everett Transit Development Plan <br /> and 2012 Annual Report. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Stonecipher and Affholter who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 235 <br />
