C) <br /> DRINKING WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND <br /> ATTACHMENT I: SCOPE OF WORK <br /> LOAN NUMBER 06-96300-010 <br /> EVERETT <br /> CLEARWELL NO. 2 <br /> 1. Provide a clear description of the project to be financed in part by a Drinking Water <br /> State Revolving Fund loan. (Attach additional sheets if necessary): <br /> The work will provide for the design and construction of a second 5 million gallon clearwell and <br /> associated facilities at the Everett Water Filtration Plant. These facilities include a new clearwell <br /> control structure; a new vault to house a flow meter, sampling pump, chemical feed points; <br /> approximately 100 feet of new 84 inch parallel pipeline from filters to clearwell control structure; <br /> new wash water pipelines; new rapid drain system; and new baffling geometry for Clearwell No. 1 <br /> to match that of the new clearwell. <br /> The work scope for the project includes environmental studies, geo-technical investigations, <br /> project design, permitting, construction, and management. The new design will conform to <br /> current seismic and other building codes. All new facilities will be constructed on City of Everett <br /> property. <br /> 2. The term of this loan will be based on an engineer's certification of the expected <br /> useful life of the improvements, as stated below, or 20 years, whichever is less. If <br /> the recipient prefers the term of its loan to be less than either 20 years or the useful <br /> life of the improvements, the preferred loan term should be <br /> indicated: 20 years. <br /> 3.
