c_.r6 <br /> ZEijc Cttp of IE)ierctt <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> WHEREAS, public works services provided in our community are an integral <br /> part of our everyday lives; and <br /> WHEREAS, the support of an informed community is vital to the efficient <br /> operation of public works systems and programs such as those managing <br /> water, sewers, solid waste, streets and surface water protection; and <br /> WHEREAS, the health, safety and comfort of this community greatly <br /> depends on these services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the quality of these services, as well as their design and <br /> construction, is vitally dependent upon the efforts and skill of public works <br /> officials; and <br /> WHEREAS, the efficiency of the qualified and dedicated public works <br /> personnel is influenced by the community's attitude and understanding of <br /> the important work they perform, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I Ray Stephanson, Mayor of the City of Everett, <br /> proclaim May 20-26, 2007 as <br /> NATIONAL PUBLIC WORKS WEEK <br /> in the City of Everett in recognition of the public works services provided <br /> each day to our community. <br /> Signed this 16th day of May 2007 <br /> Mayor Ray Stephanson <br />
