I <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> Scope of Services <br /> City of Everett <br /> East Marine View Drive Phase IV Construction Observation and Administrative Services <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This project involves the development of corridor improvements along East Marine View Drive, <br /> from the northbound I-5 off ramp to the SR 529-Broadway Ave on/off ramp within the City of <br /> Everett. Improvements include roadway enhancements and non-motorized trail facilities to connect <br /> similar facilities to the south and north of the project area. <br /> Final plans and contract documents have been completed for the improvements that include a new <br /> travel lane configuration, adjustments to the horizontal alignment, intersection improvements, new <br /> traffic signals, pedestrian facilities and landscaping. A preliminary construction critical path <br /> schedule was prepared during the design phase indicating that the project will require a 420 working <br /> day construction schedule (two full seasons). <br /> During this phase of work,Perteet Inc. and the City of Everett will collaborate in advertising the <br /> project, providing technical assistance during bidding and construction,providing construction <br /> observation services. Included in this scope of services is a delineation of work by each. <br /> GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> To allow flexibility the services under the original agreement were completed as follows: <br /> Phase I—Alternative Analysis & Preliminary Engineering Services <br /> Phase II—Surveying, Basemapping, Design Report&Environmental Documentation <br /> Phase III - PS&E Design Services <br /> The final phase of the project was described within the original agreement as follows: <br /> Phase IV - Construction Observation & Administration Services <br /> The overall objective of this document is to supplement the East Marine View Drive project to <br /> provide construction observation and administration services. <br /> Provided below is a description of services to be provided by Perteet Engineering, Inc. and <br /> subconsultants for Phase IV. <br /> 115- <br /> DOT <br /> DOT Form 140-089 EF Page 9 <br /> Revised 6/05 <br />
