EXHIBIT B 1 COMPENSATION CITY OF EVERETT ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR RESERVOIR NO.3 RE-LINING PROJECT Hourly Rate Schedule The Contractor will be paid by the City for Work done on an hourly basis based on hourly rates(inclusive of salary,overhead,and fee)shown in the following Rate Schedule.Rates apply to MWH Americas,its affiliates and subsidiaries.The hourly rates are valid through Feb 28,2008,and shall be increased annually thereafter. Rate Schedule Fellow/Chief/Officer $205 per hour Principal Professional $ 197 per hour Supervising Professional $ 153 per hour Senior Professional $ 122 per hour Professional $ 101 per hour Associate Professional $88 per hour Principal Designer $ 145 per hour Supervising Designer $ 110 per hour Senior Designer $ 100 per hour Designer $90 per hour Associate Designer $75 per hour Supervising Administrator $85 per hour Senior Administrator $75 per hour Administrator $65 per hour Clerk $56 per hour Reimbursable Expenses For all direct project costs related to this project,including subconsultants,incurred during the course of the work,the City will pay the Contractor a sum equal to the actual costs plus five percent.These direct project expenses include services as outlined in items 1 through 4. 1. Any outside and subcontracted services applicable to the work,such as special legal or accounting expenses,large document printing and reproduction services,maps,charts,or published data or reports,and other items not applicable to direct overhead. 2. Associated Project Costs(APC)at the rate of$8.50 per Contractor labor hour,which covers all costs associated with telecommunications,postage,computers,incidental photocopying and related equipment. 3. A CADD rate in the amount of$13.00 per computer aided design/drafting hour to cover the hardware,software and related expenses of CADD. 4. Other direct costs and expenses at actual cost. Mileage will be charged at the current Federal Mileage rate ($0.485 as of June 2007)per project-related mile,with no markup.
