Additional revisions or additions may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the <br /> State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br /> provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the <br /> corrections requested. <br /> 1. Provide Smoke Alarms per International Residential Code (IRC) Section R314, Show on <br /> plans <br /> 2. Provide Carbon Monoxide Alarms per International Residential Code (IRC) Section R315, <br /> Show on plans <br /> 3. Show how interior rooms are provided with light and ventilation. <br /> Openings required for light shall be permitted to open into a thermally isolated sunroom <br /> addition or patio cover, provided that there is an openable area between the adjoining <br /> room and the sunroom addition or patio cover of not less than one-tenth of the floor <br /> area of the interior room but not less than 20 square feet.
