CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON 3 <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT "I" PROJECT <br />W.O. # UP 3264 <br />WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT "T' PROJECT <br />W.O. # UP 3263 <br />NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br />Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City <br />Clerk's Office, 1St Floor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington <br />98201, until 2:00 p.m., on June 26, 2007 for the construction of approximately 6,130 <br />linear feet of combined sewer pipe and approximately 2,700 linear feet of water main, <br />described more completely in the specifications and contract documents, entitled "City of <br />Everett, Washington, Specifications for "SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT "I" <br />PROJECT, WO# UP3264 & WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT "J" PROJECT, <br />WO# UP3263" and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. The <br />engineer's estimate for this project is $4,000,000. <br />Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed online <br />at http://www.everettwa.org/bidscontracts[bids.asp. <br />Plan sets may also be purchased for reproduction costs at Bill's Blueprints <br />(425.259.0859) at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br />For technical questions regarding this project, contact Dave Voigt, Project Engineer, City <br />of Everett, at 425-257-8983. <br />All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of <br />the contract documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an <br />amount not less than 5% of the bidder's total bid amount. <br />The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or <br />informalities. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. <br />The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of <br />the City. <br />The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a period of forty-five (45) <br />days after bid opening. <br />The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and <br />regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities. <br />By order of the City Council, Everett, Washington. <br />Dated at Everett, Washington. <br />SHARON MARKS, CITY CLERK <br />R <br />
