4 EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1. Work to Be Performed <br />1 _ Review findings and recommendations contained within reports from previously <br />conducted security assessments and studies. <br />2. Meet with Filtration Plant and Waste Water Plant personnel and other City <br />representatives no more than four times to further define requirements for the security <br />system improvements. <br />3. Conduct field surveys of site and buildings to determine exact locations of <br />security devices and preferred methods of routing cabling, conduits and <br />raceways. <br />4. Identify locations for security equipment backboards. <br />5. Prepare security device drawings showing type and location of security devices. <br />6. Prepare infrastructure drawings showing security system raceway and back box <br />requirements and power requirements_ <br />7. Prepare detail drawings as needed to show special installation requirements. <br />8. Coordinate power requirements and conduit routing with plant maintenance staff. <br />9. Prepare opinions of probable construction cost for security system equipment <br />and infrastructure work. <br />10_ Prepare technical specifications for security system equipment_ <br />11. Prepare technical specifications for infrastructure work including conduit and <br />back boxes_ <br />12. Conduct not more than four review meetings with Filtration Plant personnel, <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant personnel and other City representatives to review <br />security system and infrastructure design. <br />13. Provide assistance at pre-bid conference. <br />14. Respond to technical questions from bidders and issue written clarifications and <br />addendums as required. <br />15. Assist City in reviewing and evaluating bid proposals. <br />16. Review contractor submittals and shop drawings_ <br />17. Respond to contractor request -for -information (RFI) inquiries. <br />18. Make periodic visits to site to observe installation work_ <br />19. Conduct final inspection of completed work.
