Change Order#2 to the contract is necessary to cover the time involved for the PUD work crews to perform work necessary to move a utility pole that was installed over our existing side sewer line. The Sewer System Replacement"H"project has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. The amounts paid the contractor under this contract are as follows: Amount Paid to date is: $1,603,336.61; Retainage Amount Withheld is $84,386.14. The remaining amount due is $84,386.14. By Council approving this action,the Sewer System Replacement"H"project will be accepted as complete and the retainage in the amount of$84,386.14 will be released. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Sewer System Replacement"H"project as complete, allowing the Mayor to sign Change Order #2 and authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with Marshbank Construction releasing the retainage in the amount of$84,386.14.
