7 <br /> Comprehensive Transit Service Plan <br /> avEltEll-TRANSIT <br /> Executive Summary <br /> o ET works with all Everett businesses to develop programs to decrease <br /> congestion, vehicle miles traveled and parking demand <br /> o ET plays an active role in the regional CTR program <br /> Regional Transportation Coordination <br /> To coordinate with economic development efforts to ensure the efficient integration <br /> of Everett and regional transportation services, ET will take a partnership role in the <br /> planning, devefopment:;Vandion of county <br /> ty and regional transportation <br /> services and programs and will coordinate with other transportation providers to <br /> ensure convenient, efficient travel connections throughout the region. - <br /> a ET works in partnership with Sound Transit to achieve the objectives of <br /> the 10-year Regional Transportation Plan, The goal of this plan is to <br /> improve mobility and accessibility for everyone in the region. <br /> o ET's transportation decisions, while emphasizing its primary role to <br /> provide mobility services and programs that meet the needs of the <br /> Everett community, also consider the City's relationship to the larger <br /> transportation system and integration with other public and private <br /> transportation providers. <br /> o ET works with Community Transit to provide uncomplicated connecting <br /> services that are easy for riders to use. <br /> Everett Station <br /> To develop an active regional transportation and community center ET will enhance <br /> the continuing development and importance of Everett Station as a regional <br /> transportation facility. <br /> a ET will work with.
