NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington, which <br /> are legally described as follows, contain conditions which endanger the life, limb, health, <br /> property, safety, and welfare of the public: <br /> Legal Description of the property upon which the above-referenced buildings are located <br /> is as follows; <br /> The Plat of Everett, Blk 766, Lots 15 & 16, Volume 3, of Plats, page(s) 12, Records of <br /> Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> Parcel Number: 4391 766 015 00 08 <br /> Situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington. <br /> Section 2: <br /> That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are <br /> hereby declared to be substandard as defined in the Uniform Housing Code. <br /> Section 3: <br /> That the buildings located at 3229A and 3229B Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington are <br /> hereby declared to be dangerous as defined in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br /> Dangerous Buildings. <br /> Section 4: <br /> That the Building Official is hereby authorized to have the buildings demolished and cleared <br /> from the premises. <br /> Section 5: <br /> That all expenses incurred by the City as a result of said demolition work shall be made a <br /> personal obligation of the property owners or an assessment against the property, in which case <br /> the City of Everett shall ask the County Treasurer to enter the amount of the assessment upon <br /> the tax rolls against the property and collect the same with regular property taxes and with <br /> interest at such rate as provided for in RCW 84.56.020. <br />
