ORDINANCE NO. 2259-97 <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled "41st <br /> Street Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue", Fund 303, <br /> Program 024, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to street and pedestrian improvements to 41st <br /> Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has received approval for the utilization of a Public Works <br /> Trust Fund loan and State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) funds to accomplish <br /> improvements programmed with this project; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 024, entitled "41st <br /> Street Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue" to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 024, for all expenses of the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director", under direction <br /> of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all <br /> things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $ 1,006,179 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 024, "41st Street <br /> Improvements, Friday Avenue to Rucker Avenue" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Preliminary Engineering/Right of Way $ 312,179 <br /> Construction 694,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 1,006,179 <br />
