ORDINANCE NO 2227-97 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19, EMC) to encompass an area east of Rotary Park along the Lowell - Snohomish River Road WHEREAS; on February 18, 1997 the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the zoning designation for the herein described land area annexed to the city, and WHEREAS; the City Council of Everett, after hearing the Planning Commission recommendations, agrees with the Planning Commission and determines that said property should be zoned A-1 RFD , (Agriculture, Rural Flood District). NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Zoning That the City Council accepts the Planning Commission recommendation that the A-1 RFD zoning for the annexation meets the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan as affirmed by Ordinance No. 2161-96 . Section 2: Legal Description That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett is hereby amended by zoning the annexed area A-1 Agricultural RFD:, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), All that portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 4, Township 28 North, Range 5 East, W.M.; described as follows: BEGINNING at the intersection of a line 180.00 feet Easterly of, and parallel to, the West line of said Northwest quarter of said Section 4 and mid-channel of the Snohomish River; THENCE, Easterly along said mid-channel of said river to intersect the East line of said Northwest quarter; THENCE, South along said East line of said section to the Southeast corner thereof; THENCE, West along the South line of said subdivision of said section to the Southwest corner thereof; THENCE, North along the West line of said subdivision of said section to the Northerly right of way line of the new Lowell-Snohomish River Road; 1
