ORDINANCE NO. 070 7//—9/ Tide AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction fund entitled"Parks CIP III Construction"Fund 354, authorizing the design and construction of various park improvements funded by the City of Everett Capital Improvement Program III. WHEREAS,the City of Everett has developed a Capital Improvement Program III outlining capital improvement needs for the City; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department has identified a number of community and recreational improvements to serve the recreational needs of the residents of Everett; and WHEREAS, the Everett City Council has reviewed a list of projects for inclusion in Capital Improvement Program III; and WHEREAS,the Park and Recreation Department desires to begin working on the following projects included in Capital Improvement Program III: • Forest Park Playground Rehabilitation • Legion Park Tennis Courts- Phase I • Legion Park Playground Rehabilitation • WE Hall &Lowell Parks Tennis Courts • Silver Lake Playground Rehabilitation • Howarth&Edgewater Tennis Courts • Edgewater Playground Rehabilitation • Clark Park Tennis Courts • Garfield Park Restroom Remodel • Riverfront Trail - Park Development • Silver Lake Reforestation Phase I • Jackson Park Restroom Remodel • Chemical Storage Buildings -Design • Lowell Park Restroom Remodel • Greenhouse Development- Phase I • Lions Park Restroom Remodel • Kasch Park Maintenance. Facility • Legion park Restroom Remodel • Riverfront Trail Restroom - Design • Parkwide Parking Lot Overlay • Bayside Park Overlook • Forest& Garfield Parks Tennis Courts • Old Fire Station 4 Remodel - Phase I NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section L: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 354, entitled"Parks CIP III Construction"to accumulate all costs for park improvement projects funded in the City of Everett Capital Improvement Program III.
