September 18, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., September 18, 2013, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> Everett City Hall, Vice President Affholter presiding. Upon roll call it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, <br /> Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher and Affholter were present. Council Member <br /> Moore was excused. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the September 11, 2013, Everett City Council meeting <br /> were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader commented on his attendance at the Delta <br /> Neighborhood meeting last night. He stated it was a good reminder of <br /> how hard our citizens work to keep our communities safe and livable. <br /> Council Member Murphy provided a liaison update on the Public Facilities <br /> District monthly board meeting held today. <br /> Council Member Roberts reported on his participation last week in a tour <br /> conducted by the Economic Alliance of the projects in Snohomish County <br /> that would be part of a transportation package. Council Member Roberts <br /> stated they were fortunate to be joined by Governor Inslee, as well as <br /> Senate Transportation Committee co-chair, Senator Eide, and 38th District <br /> legislators. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session following the meeting <br /> concerning a real estate/litigation matter pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) <br /> 254 <br />
