We shall support your efforts as outlined <br /> in your scope letter from July 2007. We understand the present scope of this work to <br /> include the following detailed major effort. <br /> Our tasks on the project will include the following: <br /> 1. Information and Data gathering. <br /> • Obtain record drawings and control strategy information. <br /> • Obtain reliability history, power quality and service requirement information. <br /> • Inspect the existing lift station and review flows. <br /> 2. Develop Design Criteria. <br /> • Review and clarify the City's lift station standards write up. <br /> • Identify and describe key design issues. <br /> • Alternative concepts workshop. <br /> 3. Concept Development and Evaluation. <br /> • Evaluation of instrumentation and controls. <br /> • Service coordination and commit PUD to cost and schedule. <br /> • Equipment pre purchase evaluation. <br /> • Site layout showing revised service, standby power and switchgear. <br /> • Noise abatement for genset. <br /> • Interim lift station operation (electrical and controls). <br /> • Identify hazardous locations. <br /> • Ranking of alternatives with City staff. <br /> 4. Preliminary Design Report. <br /> • Drawings including P&ID, electrical site and floor plans, and one line diagram <br /> • Preliminary specifications for motors, drives, genset, controls, and telemetry. <br /> • Construction cost estimate. <br /> Attached is our fee estimate for the pre-design effort, itemized by sheets of drawings and <br /> tasks.
