Also,we wish to thank you for your time <br /> in reviewing this project with us on July 11,2007. <br /> Since we have past experience with other utility projects,we are confident that our office can provide the personal and professional <br /> services required to make the Everett Lift Station 24 a success.We understand the first phase of this project will be limited to a 30% <br /> design level in order to first identify and evaluate alternatives and then to make a recommendation for implementation of the project. <br /> The site is an existing lift station located in a residential neighborhood in unincorporated Snohomish County and is adjacent to the <br /> Interurban Trail.While community perception of the project is important,no special public meetings,board/commission meetings or <br /> presentation to Council is included at this time.Based upon our knowledge of this project and previous discussions with you,we are <br /> proposing the following professional services for your consideration. A <br /> Our proposed scope of work will easily permit modification as we progress through the design process.The tasks that we are <br /> proposing for your project includes the following: • <br /> TASK 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT a <br /> 1.1. Provide monthly progress reports,invoicing and cash flow projections. m <br /> 1.2 Attend up to two(2)project meetings with the Owner,Design Team or other key stakeholders. o <br /> TASK 2. INFORMATION&DATA GATHERING y <br /> 2.1. Visit the site to evaluate proposed improvements against existing site conditions. <br /> 2.2. Review available background information and research relevant agency code requirements for landscape <br /> improvements. <br /> 2.3. Review base maps provided by Murray,Smith&Associates(in AutoCAD format). <br /> • <br /> TASK 7. PRELIMINARY DESIGN REPORT s <br /> 7.1. Prepare 30%planting plan,schedule and typical details(1":=20'-0",2 sheets).Plans will include general plant <br /> massing and tree locations to meet the goals and relevant code requirements for the project.Plants will be drought <br /> tolerant varieties,watered through plant establishment only by hand or other method.Automatic irrigation system will <br /> not be provided.Schedule will include plant selection only.Plant selection will be based upon the availability of new N <br /> plant materials,soil and climate conditions,site drainage,project grading,and site utilities. <br /> 7.2. One(1)color-rendered planting plan for Owner to use in presentation(s)to boards/commissions,regulatory <br /> agencies,Council or other stakeholders. <br /> 7.3. Prepare construction cost estimates based on 30%design documents. <br /> 7.4. Provide one(1)quality control review by a senior,licensed staff member. <br /> TASK 8.
