This proposed ordinance would <br /> expand the crime of stalking in the Everett Municipal Code to also include this group as stalking victims, <br /> which will elevate a stalking charge to a felony. The crime would be punishable in accordance with, and <br /> consistently with, State penalties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance relating to Stalking, <br /> amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1974-93, as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2413-99, (EMC <br /> 10.16.050). <br /> 81 <br />
