Professional Services Agreement between Providence Associates and the Everett Public 7 <br /> Library <br /> Exhibit A <br /> Payment schedule <br /> The work is divided into four phases, each with specific deliverables. At the completion <br /> of the tasks and deliverables associated with each phase the Library agrees to pay 25%of <br /> the total contract. <br /> Phase 1 <br /> Tasks and deliverables <br /> a. a demographic profile with population projections through 2015 <br /> b. a peer comparison and benchmarking report,. <br /> c. a youth services assessment, a technology assessment <br /> d. a report on community partnerships and services to diverse populations <br /> Phase 2 <br /> e. design focus group questions, stakeholder interview questions,and web survey questions in <br /> consultation with the library planning team <br /> f. conduct 6-10 focus groups, some to include library staff, and prepare reports <br /> g. conduct 4-6 key stakeholder interviews,and compile reports <br /> h. conduct a web survey and compile report <br /> i. conduct a statistically valid telephone survey of Everett residents and overall report <br /> j. prepare an overall community analysis report <br /> Phase 3 <br /> k. draft plan of service based on the identified service priorities,with review by library planning <br /> team <br /> 1. draft staffing plan to support the plan of service, including alternate scenarios for growth, <br /> funding, and the impact of technology <br /> m. draft collection development statement. <br /> n. draft funding plan that explores different options for funded the recommended service <br /> priorities,with an operational cost estimates for each component. <br /> Phase 4 <br /> o. facilitate a retreat to review findings, plan of service,vision and missions statements, establish <br /> goals with measurable objectives,brainstorm activities that support objectives. <br /> p. prepare preliminary draft of strategic plan, and submit it for review by library planning team. <br /> q. hold a town hall meeting opportunity for the community,with opportunity for further input, <br /> and creation of summary of meeting comments. <br /> r. Laura Isenstein will present the final draft,to full, library staff,board, and City of Everett <br /> elected officials. <br /> s.
