This project will install four new traffic signals on Merrill Creek Parkway at the <br />intersections with Seaway Boulevard., 23'd Drive W., Hardeson Road, and 13th Avenue W. <br />The first advertisement resulted in bids that exceeded the engineers estimate by 29 percent and resulted in the <br />rejection of all bids. <br />The sources of funds for this project are: <br />Fund 157 — Traffic Mitigation <br />Fund 119 — Street Improvements <br />Total <br />$ 300,000.00 <br />185,000.00 <br />$485,000.00 <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the call for bids for the Merrill Creek Parkway Signals Project. <br />W03272 (2) - Bid Call.doc <br />
