The following is a tentative schedule for the limited emergency <br /> competitive process,which may adjust as circumstances develop: <br /> May 9, 2012 • Adoption of Emergency Resolution <br /> Week of May 28, 2012 • Completion of Plans and Specifications <br /> • Distribution of Bid Package to Invited <br /> Bidders <br /> Week of June 4, 2012 • Bid Submission Deadline <br /> • Council Award of Contract <br /> c. In accordance with the circumstances,the Public Works Director may <br /> adjust the limited emergency competitive process as he deems necessary and practical. Further, in the <br /> event of significant deterioration of the discharge line or other circumstances,the Mayor may <br /> completely set aside the limited emergency competitive process, purchase all necessary materials, and <br /> award construction contract(s)as he determines necessary. The City Council will be kept up-to-date in <br /> such a situation. <br /> C. Settlement of Claims.
