6 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project <br /> entitled "Bond Street Railroad Crossing", Fund 303, <br /> Program 056, to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br /> project and repealing Ordinance number 2553-01. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett is committed to a planned street and road safety <br /> improvement program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett has identified the need and received a Federal grant <br /> for safety improvements to the Bond Street at-grade railroad crossing; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 056, <br /> entitled "Bond Street Railroad Crossing", to accumulate all costs for the improvement <br /> project and repealing Ordinance Number 2553-01. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund <br /> 303, Program 056, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Engineering/Public Services Director," under <br /> direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all <br /> tasks and doing all things to accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of $255,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 056, "Bond <br /> Street Railroad Crossing", as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Design and Right-of-Way $ 78,000 <br /> Construction $ 127,000 <br /> Total Estimated Cost $ 255,000 <br /> 36 <br />
