Refugee & Immiorrant Forum <br /> of Snohomish County- <br /> Vim <br /> ountVin Dinh-Kuno <br /> As the executive director of the Refugee & Immigrant Forum of <br /> Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcorn counties in the state of Washington, <br /> Van Dinh-Kuno runs the most visible and comprehensive agency <br /> serving recently arrived refugee and immigrant. <br /> Her background serves as an ideal foundation for this job. Born in <br /> Vietnam, she immigrated to the United States 30 years ago, and <br /> received a degree in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota. <br /> She went to work as a biochemist for the Federal Government, and <br /> later relocated to Washington State. In 1985 she went to work at the <br /> Refugee Forum. She became Executive Director in 1991. <br /> Van's work in the community on a volunteer and professional level is <br /> exemplary.
