This Agreement with CTED relates to use of grant program funding to improve <br /> the criminal justice and community response to violence against women in Snohomish County. The grant funds from <br /> CTED are distributed equally for(1)victim services,(2)prosecution and(3)law enforcement. Participating <br /> members,along with the Police Department,are the Snohomish County Center for Battered Women,Providence <br /> Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse and the Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office. Agreements with the <br /> individual agencies will come forward for Council approval after this agreement is accepted. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Intergovernmental <br /> Agreement No. F07-31103-069 with Washington State Department of Community,Trade and Economic Development <br /> ("CTED")regarding utilization of FFY 2007 STOP Formula Grant Program funds. <br /> 24 <br />
