EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br />6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2007 <br />CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />Roll Call <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />Approval of Minutes: November 14, 2007 <br />Mayor's Comments - Swearing in of Everett Police Officers Lance Uhden, <br />Margaret Hodges, Hans Schweizer and Dennis <br />Ward <br />Council <br />City Attorney <br />Citizen Comments <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br />(1) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the city of Everett in the amount <br />of $2,080,687.63 for the period of November 3, 2007 through November 9, 2007 <br />(2) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing payroll claims against the city of Everett in the <br />amount of $3,013,020.57 for the period ending October 27, 2007 <br />(3) Authorize Advertise for Statements of Qualifications / Proposals from qualified <br />engineering consultants for the Water Transmission Line #2 Replacement — Phase 8B <br />(4) Accept the Water Pollution Control Facility North Outfall Protection Project as <br />complete, and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with American <br />Civil Constructors West Coast, Inc. allowing the release of retainage bond <br />ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) <br />(5) Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement with the Snohomish County Department of <br />Emergency Management to receive grant funding for equipment as provided in FY <br />2004 State Homeland Security Grant Program Grant Contract in the amount of <br />$20,892.14 <br />(6) Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement with the Snohomish County Department of <br />Emergency Management to receive grant funding for equipment as provided in FY <br />2005 State Homeland Security Grant Program Grant Contract in the amount of <br />$14,798.42 <br />(7) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br />with Brown and Caldwell for the design and production of the Water Filtration Plant <br />Operation and Maintenance Manual <br />AGENDA CONTINUED ON THE BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
