Snohomish County DEM has been <br />designated as the Grant Manager with funds allocated from the Snohomish County award to agencies by the <br />Snohomish County Homeland Security Strategy Committee. A portion of the grant funding was allocated to <br />purchase and distribute personal protective, chemical, biological and radiological detection equipment to <br />local response agencies. The Everett Fire Department award of the equipment grant funding is $20,892.14. <br />The Distribution Agreement lists the equipment that will be transferred to the Everett Fire Department and <br />the terms of conditions of this equipment distribution. <br />Everett Fire Department will receive the following equipment: <br />2 Portable Ventilators <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the distribution agreement between the City of Everett and the Snohomish <br />County Department of Emergency Management to receive grant funding in the amount of $20,892.14 for <br />equipment as provided in FY 2004 State Homeland Security Grant Program Grant Contract. <br />S:PCORMSH: WORD:CouncilAgend&Agenda Coversheet-Proc-2-14-05 <br />
