The agreement, managed for <br /> federal agencies by the U.S. Department of Transportation, provides federal employees working at King <br /> County job sites with a regional transit pass for travel on all participating agencies in the Puget Sound area. <br /> King County Metro is the coordinating authority for the region and Sound Transit is the fiscal agent. Kitsap <br /> Transit is responsible for pass distribution to participating federal agencies. As a continuing regional partner, <br /> ET will honor the Flex Pass on fixed route service in the ET service area. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign the Federal Employee Transit Pass Program <br /> Agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation. <br />
