Solid waste/recycling <br /> Recycling efforts are coordinated and guided through the "Comprehensive Solid Waste <br /> Management Plan" (February 1991, revised in 1992) which sets forth goals and actions <br /> for a five year period. The summary of implementation activities begins on page 12-7 <br /> and covers the following items: Waste Reduction, Recycling, Composting, Waste <br /> Collection, Resource Recovery, Transfer and Long Haul System, Landfilling, <br /> Enforcement and Administration and other wastes.
