• <br /> 4. C-1 General Commercial Zone. The purpose of the general commercial zone is to <br /> provide for a wide range of retail businesses, consumer and commercial services for the <br /> greater Everett area. Adult use businesses are permitted uses, consistent with the purpose <br /> and intent of this zone, provided they meet the Locational Requirements of Section <br /> 39.025.A. <br /> 5. C-1R Regional Commercial-Office Zone. The purpose of the regional <br /> commercial-office zone is to provide areas for large scale retail businesses oriented to a <br /> regional consumer market, high quality office park development, and related consumer <br /> and business services. Adult use businesses are permitted uses, consistent with the <br /> purpose and intent of this zone, provided they meet the Locational Requirements of <br /> Section 39.025.A. <br /> 6. B-3 Central Business District Zone. The purpose and function of the central <br /> business district zone is to: <br /> a. Provide a strong central urban focus and identity for the city; <br /> b. Provide a multi-use character of retail, service, financial, office, <br /> governmental, residential, human service and cultural activities; <br /> c. Encourage a pedestrian-oriented environment; <br /> d. Encourage urban design amenities within the downtown core area; and <br /> e. Implement the goals, objectives and policies of the development plan for <br /> Everett's central city as part of the Everett general plan. <br /> f. Adult use businesses are permitted uses, consistent with the purpose and <br /> intent of this zone, provided they meet the Locational Requirements of Section <br /> 39.025.A. <br /> 7. W-C Waterfront Commercial Zone. The purpose of the waterfront commercial <br /> zone is to: <br /> a. Provide for and protect areas of the city for tourism services and <br /> commercial activities which are dependent upon or are enhanced by a location <br /> near Everett's waterfront areas; <br /> b. Further the goals and policies of both the Everett general plan and the <br /> shoreline management master program relating to public access to and enjoyment <br /> of the shoreline; and <br /> c. Establish standards which promote high quality development implemented <br /> through the shoreline permit process, where applicable. <br /> d. Adult use businesses are permitted uses, consistent with the purpose and <br /> intent of this zone, provided they meet the Locational Requirements of Section <br /> 39.025.A. <br /> 16 <br />
