• <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> shall not be deemed to be a conversion of the industrial land base to a non- <br /> industrial use, and adult use businesses shall be deemed to be compatible with and <br /> permitted in the industrial land use designations, provided they comply with the <br /> locational requirements of the Zoning Code. All non-industrial land uses which <br /> are specifically permitted in industrial zones by the Zoning Code shall be <br /> permitted within, and considered compatible with, the Southwest Everett <br /> industrial land use designations of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Section 5. Resolution No. 4264 is hereby incorporated herein by reference. An emergency <br /> is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect immediately. This is a public emergency <br /> ordinance necessary for the immediate preservation and protection of the public health and <br /> safety. <br /> Section 6. The City Council hereby adopts this ordinance to provide comprehensive plan <br /> policies for adult use businesses. This is an interim ordinance that shall remain in effect for a <br /> period not to exceed six (6) months to enable the State to review the ordinance and comment per <br /> RCW 36.70A.106. Following the lapse of the sixty (60) day period required by RCW <br /> 36.70A.106, the City will review any comments received from the State, take such action the <br /> City deems appropriate, and remove the interim designation. <br /> Section 7. That should any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence clause or phrase set forth in <br /> this ordinance or its application to any person or situation be declared unconstitutional or invalid <br /> for any reason, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this <br /> ordinance or its application to any other person or situation.
