Since shoreline <br /> jurisdiction is in part determined by the location of floodplains and floodways, changes to the FIRM maps <br /> necessitates updating the SMP maps accordingly. The update also includes corrections of minor errors in the <br /> previously adopted maps, and changes to the map format from black and white to color. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance amending the Shoreline <br /> Master Program, Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code to update the shoreline designation maps and <br /> accompanying text to be consistent with updated FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, by Amending Exhibit <br /> A to Ordinance No. 2600-02, as Amended(Shoreline Master Program), Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 2021-94 <br /> (Comprehensive Plan) and Exhibit A to Ordinance No. 1671-89, as Amended (Zoning Code). <br /> 45 <br />
