7 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of the east/west alley in <br /> block 318 of the Plat of Riverdale Addition <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the front footage abutting the alley legally <br /> described as follows: <br /> The east/west alley lying adjacent to the east 8.34 feet of lot 16 and all of lots 17 <br /> through 21, Block 318, Plat of Riverdale Addition, according to the plat thereof, <br /> recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, Page 45, records of Snohomish County, Washington. <br /> and shown on the attached sketch, have petitioned for the vacation of said right-of-way; and <br /> WHEREAS, R.C.W. 35.79.010 provides that City Council shall, by resolution, fix a date for public <br /> hearing on said petition; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> that a public hearing be set for March 19th, 2008 at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, <br /> at 3002 Wetmore Avenue, to consider the proposed vacation of aforesaid right-of-way as herein <br /> described. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of February, 2008. <br /> Council President <br /> 24 <br />
