The purpose of this project will be to apply a waterproof coating to the existing concrete <br /> block/stucco exterior, replace windows/sliders,repair/replace interior water damaged finishes, and <br /> waterproof all entry points to prevent further water intrusion damage. The Facilities Department has <br /> determined TCM General Construction, Inc. to be the lowest responsive bidder(See attached bid results). <br /> Advanced Construction, the lowest bidder, was deemed non-responsive for failure to submit proper bid <br /> proposal documentation. A breakdown of construction costs follows: <br /> Base Bid: $427,000.00 <br /> Unit Price: $31,500.00 (Unit Price based on an estimated 5,250 SF of Masonry Repointing at $6.00/SF) <br /> Sales Tax: $39,431.00 <br /> TOTAL: $497,931.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Award the bid for the Senior Activity Center—Exterior building Renovation <br /> Project to TCM General Construction, Inc. <br /> t� <br /> J <br />
