After careful review and discussion the following projects have been recommended as the best allocation for current Lodging Tax revenues not committed to the capital projects. Gardens Art Festival- Sorticulture in the amount not to exceed $7,000.00, Snohomish Arts Commission in the amount not to exceed 4,000.00, Imagine Children Museum in the amount not to exceed $7,000.00, Olympic Ballet Theatre in the amount not to exceed $4,000.00, 2008 Skate America in the amount not to exceed $18,000.00, Snohomish Artist Guild in the amount not to exceed $4,000.00, Everett Symphony in the amount not to exceed $16,000.00, Arts Council of Snohomish County in the amount not to exceed $25,000.00 and Village Theatre in the amount not to exceed $15,000.00 The recommendations were presented to the Budget Committee on March 14, 2008. By approving this action Council will approve the allocations of the 2008 Hotel Motel Tax funds not to exceed $100,000.00. RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council). Concur with the recommendations of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and the Budget Committee to approve the 2008 Lodging Tax fund allocations as designated above not to exceed the amount of$100,000.00. 4
