RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving a sole source purchase of Power Pole <br /> and Electrical Service Installation from Snohomish County PUD. <br /> WHEREAS, Engineering/Public Services requires the installation of one 75-foot transmission pole and seven <br /> distribution poles to support the Riverfront Development project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Snohomish County PUD is the only available source for the installation and provision of this <br /> regulated service in Snohomish County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of installing electrical transmission and <br /> distribution poles, the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the purchase and <br /> installation of these poles from Snohomish County PUD. <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this day of , 2008. <br /> Council President <br /> 46 <br />
