The system is an improvement over the outdated system currently used by the Animal Shelter. The system will allow the shelter to link animal control, shelter facility, license facility and health issues, providing quicker and more efficient information about animal management. The fee structure is based upon the number of adopted animals per year, and the shelter adopts approximately 3000 animals per year. The fee for up to 5000 adopted animals per year is $2400.00 RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign a Service Provider Agreement with Pethealth Software Solutions to provide online database management for the Animal Shelter activities in the amount of $2,400.
