,4ige ETaJ' <br /> ORDINANCE# 2092-95 <br /> An Ordinance Rezoning Property Located at 8220 Beverly Boulevard from <br /> R-1 (Single Family Low Density) to B-1 (Neighborhood Shopping). <br /> WHEREAS, City Council adopted Resolution No. 3734 on January 27, 1993 declaring its intent <br /> to rezone the property located at 8220 Beverly Boulevard from R-1 (Single Family Low Density) <br /> to B-1 (Neighborhood Shopping)upon completion of certain specified off-street parking, <br /> landscaping, and street frontage improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, said improvements were to be completed by January 27, 1995; and <br /> WHEREAS, the property changed ownership shortly before January 27, 1995 and the new owner <br /> posted a bond with the City for the required improvements prior to said date; and <br /> WHEREAS, the required improvements have been installed in accordance with the conditions <br /> specified in Resolution No. 3734; and <br /> • <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezone is consistent with the Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan; bears a substantial relationship to the public health, safety and welfare; and <br /> promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The property located at 8220 Beverly Boulevard, the legal description of which is: <br /> Lot 15, Block 5, Beverly Park, according to the Plat recorded in Volume 8 of Plats, Page <br /> 24, records of Snohomish County, Washington; except the following described portion: <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 15; thence, northerly along the easterly line <br /> of said Lot 15, for 8.0 feet; thence, southwesterly in a straight line to a point located on <br /> the southerly line of said Lot 15, which is 10.0 feet westerly of the southeast corner <br /> thereof; thence, easterly along the southerly line of said Lot 15 to the point of beginning; <br /> and except that portion described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 15; <br /> thence, southeasterly along the easterly line of said Lot 15 for 100.0 feet; thence, <br /> northerly in a straight line to a point on the north line, which is 200 feet westerly of the <br /> northeast corner thereof; thence, easterly along the northerly line of said Lot 15 to the <br /> point of beginning. <br /> is hereby rezoned from R-1 (Single Family Low Density) to B-1 (Neighborhood Shopping). <br />
