1, <br /> • <br /> • <br /> is hereby amended to read hereafter as follows: <br /> Section 3: An additional surcharge of$13.32 per month shall be charged to <br /> the single-family residential properties receiving the $4,000 sewer construction payments <br /> as provided in Section 1 above, commencing with connection to the Everett sewer system <br /> or pursuant to Ordinance No. 1164-85 (EMC 14.08.250) or as such may be amended. <br /> This surcharge shall be in addition to all other rates and fees charged to these customers. <br /> All properties benefiting from public sanitary sewers constructed <br /> with LID or City funds shall pay pro rata shares of the cost of the sewers. (For single- <br /> family residences existing at the time of sewer construction, the pro rata shares of cost <br /> shall be the $4,000 City payments and any amount in excess thereof) In instances in <br /> which public sanitary sewers are constructed using LID financing, the benefiting <br /> properties' pro rata shares of cost for the sewers shall be paid by means of LID <br /> assessments. In the small, residential areas where public sanitary sewers are constructed <br /> by the City without LID financing, the pro rata shares of cost for the sewers shall be paid <br /> by means of an additional connection charge, as established by the Public Works Director, <br /> for each connection to the sewers. The amount of the connection charge shall be based on <br /> the City's total cost of constructing the sewers and the City's estimate of the number of <br /> possible connections to the subject sewers. This connection charge shall be in addition to <br /> all other applicable connection charges. <br /> 3.
