• B. Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvements 1. Allocate $30,000 sidewalk repair through the Port Gardner Block Grant area. C. Riverside Neighborhood Improvements 1. Allocate $15,000 for street identification signs and for curbs and gutters on 25th Street west of Harrison Street. Section 3: Should costs be less for the above projects than originally estimated, similar projects, upon a vote of the Neighborhood, will be funded. If project costs exceed the estimates given, the lowest priority project or projects will be dropped for funding. Section 4: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 369 to accomplish the "1994 Block Grant Neighborhood Improvements" Section 5: The total estimated cost of the improvements herein authorized is $60,000 which will include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. Section 6: The City Engineer of the City of Everett under the administration of the Mayor is hereby given the responsibility of providing for the pedestrian safety, street, sign and sidewalk improvements as defined herein. Section 7 The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to obtain interim financing which may be in any form permitted by law. Interim financing liabilities shall be paid by the Treasurer as soon as permanent financing monies, from sources as described elsewhere in this Ordinance, are received. Section 8: Funding. A. The sum of $60,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund No. 369, "1994 Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Improvements", as follows: Program 001: Port Gardner Neighborhood Improvement $30,000 Program 002: Riverside Neighborhood Improvement $15,000 Program 003: Northeast Neighborhood Improvements $15.000 $60.000
